Prosperan Bank is a state
chartered financial institution wholly-owned by
Prosperan Bancshares, Inc., an approved bank holding
company. Chartered in 1998, the bank officially
opened in our community on April 6, 1999.
Prosperan Bank was formally known as Washington
County Bank. On November 15th, 2007, we changed
our name to Prosperan Bank. This name change is
a result of our desire to grow and expand to provide
our customers with more convenient locations.
The name Prosperan Bank originated from the location
of our first bank in Washington County. Since
then the bank has expanded to Ramsey County and
Hennepin County. The new name is a reflection
of our commitment to our customers and the communities
in which we are located.
